Starting from the Media or Radio menu, press the control button for Sound Link.
Turn the rotary pushbutton to select a menu option, e.g. Balance Fig. 1 and press to confirm. The selected item will appear larger on the MMI display Fig. 2.
Turn the rotary pushbutton clockwise or anti-clockwise to adjust the sound settings.
Press the rotary pushbutton to confirm the adjustment.
The following sound settings are available:
  • Balance (varies the left/right volume ratio)
  • Fader (varies the front/rear volume ratio)
  • Treble
  • Bass
  • GALA (speed-dependent volume control)
  • Subwoofer* (for extra bass depth)1)
  • DSP* Link
  • DSP Bang & Olufsen* Link
  • Volume settings (for other audio sources) Link
The settings for treble and bass apply to the currently activated mode. The settings for balance and fader apply regardless of the selected function.
1) The subwoofer* cannot be adjusted if your vehicle is equipped with the Bang & Olufsen* sound system.
